Candidate must have a CDL class A license. Car hauling experience is a plus, but not necessary. Commercial driving experience would be helpful.
Drivers are required to load and unload assorted vehicles onto car trailers and transport them to multiple car dealerships in the Central New York area. Drivers make regional runs, primarily to/from car auctions in New York and Pennsylvania and other states in the region.
Rotella Transport drivers typically work 40+ hours per week and may be on-the-road or out-of -town a few nights each week. Our drivers are paid a percentage of each load they deliver,. We offer and excellent benefit package including paid vacation and holidays, as well as 401-k retirement program and paid health insurance.
Our company-owned trucks and equipment are driver friendly and maintained well. Candidates should like to work outside and work well independently. Rotella Transport drivers should be able to accept some physically challenging situations, as the job requires some climbing and working on and around elevated trailer ramps in all kinds of weather. Drivers are responsible for accurately completing paperwork regarding the vehicles they transport as well as all Federal DOT paperwork and log sheets.
